This policy explains how Window Quote Match (“we”, “us”) collects and uses the personal details you provide when you use our matching form. We are the data controller for the information you submit on this website. Last updated: July 2026.

What we collect

When you complete our matching form we collect:

Your name (first and last name);
Your email address;
Your phone number;
Your postcode;
Whether you are a homeowner;
Marketing attribution data collected automatically — the campaign source, medium and term that brought you to the site, advertising click identifiers (for example Google or Meta click ids), the page you first landed on, your browser user-agent and your IP address.

How we use your details

We use your details to match you with one or more vetted local installers who can provide a quote for the work you are interested in. By submitting the form you agree that a matched installer may contact you by phone, directly in relation to the application you made, to discuss your enquiry and arrange a free, no-obligation quote or home survey. We may also use the marketing attribution data to understand which campaigns are effective and to improve our service.

Lawful basis

We process your details on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in operating a matching service. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Who we share it with

Qualifying enquiries are passed to a matched installer (or a small number of installers) so they can contact you about your quote. We do not sell your data for unrelated marketing. We may use trusted service providers (for example hosting and analytics) who process data on our behalf under contract.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry details for up to 24 months from your submission, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless we are required to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
